Trondheim’s most active and fascinating improv group, and the only group doing improv in English!
Since August 2016 Gibberish has become an association (“forening” in Norwegian). You can find our statutes here: 2016/2017 | 2017/2018.
When & Where
We have shows two Saturdays per month at Stammen Café & Bar in Trondheim. Feel free to stop by and watch us in action 🙂
Also, you can join our open practices: Every Monday from 19.30h – 21.30h at “Klubben” at Kultursenteret ISAK (Prinsens Gate 44).
Exclusive Shows and Workshops
We also provide workshops on teambuilding and collaboration or entertainment tailored for your purposes. We have entertained at festivals, seminars, private parties or at “julebord” in Trondheim, and we also have done teambuilding workshops for various research communities at NTNU. Please contact us for further information! See also our flyer for more info.
Board Members 2019-2020
Bogdan Glogovac
I like sausage dogs, straciattela icecream, Star Wars (old ones), popcorns, David Bowie and improv! Oh, yes, I love environment too!
So I work as environmental communicator in one cool start up from Trondheim 😉
Kristoffer Nergård
Kristoffer is a stand up kind of guy. That means he stands a lot. And he likes to play music and video games, and movies, and dirty jokes. And he's into philosophy and stuff.
And most of all, he has learned that what is most important in life is to say yes to things. So he started to do improv. And now he's into the board. Standing a lot. In the board.
Marius Korsnes
Marius is currently grandmaster of gibberish and is generally passionately improvising life.
He is an islander who loves to discuss, dance, play chess, brew beer and, naturally, to improvise.
He also works as a researcher within technology and society at NTNU and wants to integrate more improv into teaching and research, and to make the world more sustainable through improv.
Martin
Sophia Efstathiou
Sophia: improving the world is her mission as the diligent Virgo she is, though really her means of doing that through improv have left some of her friends baffled.
Professionally employed as a philosopher at NTNU, she has developed an account of innovation in science she calls found science by analogy to found art, and she is interested in going beyond jargon -hence, Gibberish.
Hi.
I have signed up for a studium in acting.
The rehearsal will be January 22 and I have
been told that its good to have some experience with improtheater. Since I have none I wonder if its possible to join Gibberish a few times before the rehearsal to learn a little about it.
Best regards
Trine Bakken
Hi Trine,
Sure, you are welcome to join us. We have practices every Monday from 19-21 at ISAK, room Klubben. Feel free to stop by, every level is accepted. I believe we have at least one more practice before christmas. If you write us on the facebook page, I can also add you to our group there to get the latest info.
